Ownership / Rental Program

Owned and operated by Key Club Associates, Longboat Key Club and Resort offers the buyer attractive rental opportunities. The purchase of a condominium unit entitles you to participate in the Ownership Rental Program. Through this program, your unit is rented out on a rotational basis allowing equal usage of all suites. The owner's use of the unit should not exceed fourteen (14) nights during the period from December 15 to April 30, plus fourteen (14) nights from May 1 to December 14. Unit owners enjoy one-half of the nightly room revenue for their investment. Longboat Key Club and Resort pampers the owners and guests with fine dining, generous amenities, club concierge, maid service and friendly staff to make your vacation a memorable one.

The "A" floor plan, club suite, is approximately 650 square feet and has been designed to provide the ideal vacation villa necessities. This luxury suite will be a great home for the active couple who wants to enjoy all the activities of Longboat Key Club and Resort and nearby Sarasota during their stay.

The unique "B" floor plan, two-bedroom with a lockout feature, allows you to enjoy separate entrances and a lockable connecting door to the guest room. It is especially appropriate for corporate purchasers who may want to offer travel and entertainment incentives to customers and executives. This suite is approximately 1,250 square feet.

The more conventional, 1,250 square foot apartment is seen in the two-bedroom "C" floor plan. This suite is designed for people who plan to spend more time on the island, but really don't need all the extras of a larger permanent residence.

Every resort should have its "Presidential Suite" and our "D" floor plan, the deluxe two-bedroom, is that and more. This 1,700 square-foot apartment makes an ideal corporate vacation getaway or perfect accommodation for two couples who want to share the expense of owning a "retreat" at the beach. This unique villa occurs only at the end of a building, and its sliding glass doors open to a balcony with expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, lagoon or Golf course fairways.

If you choose not to participate in the hotel program, the owner & owner’s guests will have unlimited usage of that unit. The common area amenities include the pool and private beach to be used by owner and owner’s guest. A unit owner may purchase a membership from Longboat Key Club and have the ability to use the on-site amenities.
